HOLY HELL! HOW ARE Y'ALL?!?!
Jeepers, it's been two months since I've updated a journal here... sorry about that gang!! I've been pretty busy the past couple months on the weekends and have only had time to stop in now and again to upload a few pics already-described in my Sta.sh (LOVE THAT STUPID FEATURE! ) and occasionally go through my messages during slow times at work. Wee!

So. Life, in general, has been good! I went to New York City for the first time in my life with a couple of my friends back in late February, and I had an AWESOME time! New Yorkers (at least where we were...) are SO nice and very helpful, and seem very into letting you know what to see and do in their beautiful city! And WHAT a city!! It's so clean, and amazing and OMG, I would NOT want to live there. SO. MANY. PEOPLE. It was a bit overwhelming. Nice to visit, though Hee hee.  

So, as you may have seen in the title, OTTAWA IS HAVING A COMICON!!!  It's our very first one, May 12 and 13! PATRICK STEWART IS GOING TO BE THERE OMG!!!!!!! I was wondering if any of my watchers are going to be there?? I'm totally going both days (just have to get my tickets), so let me know, maybe we'll run into each other!! OMG!!! So cool!! If I knew about it sooner, I would have tried to get some stuff done for it for "Artists Alley" and tried to get into the show, but alas, no. BUT I think it's still going to be awesome, and why the hell would I turn down a comiccon RIGHT in my OWN city, not more than 10 minutes from my apartment?!?! OMG!!!!

Well. Now that I got that out of my system... Hee. What else that's not art-related? Nothing really. I lead a very dull life I think it's a comfort thing.

And holy shit, I just realized that if I still was maintaining my website, SLWP, it would be 15 Years Old today. My original three characters turn 15! Oh.... Holy shit where the hell did time go??!? I love them so... Shit if I remembered sooner, I would have drawn a pic. Oy. Anyway. On to the stuff you care about  





I still try to upload at least once a week, what with all the small pics I've accumulated in my Sta.sh. Sorry that my art uploads lately haven't been overly exciting, but smaller pics are faster to finish and therefore I've a lot more of them to upload. Though, y'all will be happy to know that I just finished scanning 8 new pics, I just have to clean them up... and 2 of them aren't fanart!! YAY!!

And speaking of non-fanart, thank you all for the results of my current poll, which you can continue to vote on until I find something else that I want your opinion on, heh. It's a very tight race, but I think I will redraw the top two, since the results are SO close. Hee.

Most of my art time has been spent doing Head-Shot Commissions, which I call Busted Heads. They're only 12$ CAD EACH and I will ALSO DRAW FAN ART AND CHARACTERS (doesn't have to be human heads!). Check out samples of the ones I have done for my Google+ crew in my gallery here.

Aside from those headshot commissions, I really would like to do full commissions. My art supply is running low and I need the funds to replenish it! You can view the prices and info HERE. I'm thinking of changing the payment to 1/2 upfront..., 'cause I've discovered I'm more motivated to finish a pic if I've already been paid Hee.

As for my two current commissions... I'm going to sit my ass down and finalize them this week, 'cause I've felt awful that they were put on the backburner for so long due to other upfront-paid commissions. For that, I am truely sorry.
